Between December and April/May the dry semi-desert Central Kalahari turns into a green and succulent wildlife reserve. During this time thousands of springboks and large herds of gemsbok are located there. Besides the splendid, black maned kalahari lion, there are many cheetahs who use the lowlands for hunting springboks. The large herds of giraffes amaze its spectators as well. If you are lucky you might me able to see the rare long-haired brown hyena. Furthermore, there are major prides of jackals as well as leopards, bat eared foxes, honey badgers, ground squirrel and during dry season the funny suricates - animals which are rare to find. The camps and lodges are perfect starting points for exciting safaris.
