Meru National Park

Meru National Park

Meru Nationalpark is located in the north east of Mount Kenya and spreads over an area of ca. 870 km². The attraction of the park is where the river Tana - the biggest in Kenya - builds a natural border of the park. The Adamson Water Falls are located there as well. In the park there are lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraff's-neck gazelles as well as oryx and red hartebeest. But also grevy-zebras, reticulated giraffes and a large amount of Somalian ostriches. In these numerous rivers are hippos and crocodiles accommodated. For bird fancier it is the right place too with its ca. 300 different species of bird.

Explore the Meru National Park in one of the exclusive accommodations.
