Mount Kenya
Mount-Kenya-Massive - 5199 m above sealevel - is the second highest massif in east Africa. Its centre is about 15 km in the south of the equator. This unique landscape was declared a natural heritage in 1997. In the woods and further up you will have good chances to view elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, klippspringer, black white colobus monkeys, baboons, guenons and even hyenas. And if you are lucky you can also see one of the biggest and scarcest antelopes in Africa called bongo.
